NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02, notice is hereby given that there will be a meeting of the Arizona Water Protection Fund (AWPF) Commission on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Meeting room doors will open at 9:30 a.m. This meeting is open to the public, and in person or virtual attendance options are available.

    1. The Commission will be updated on the project status and may take action to approve a grant award contract extension.

    1. The Commission will discuss and take action to elect a Chair and Vice-Chair for Fiscal Year 2027.

  8. Arizona Water Protection Fund Administrative Fund Update and Transfer Request – Executive Director and ADWR Finance Staff
    1. The Commission will be updated on the status of program administration funding and will discuss and may take action to approve the transfer of $236,250 of the unobligated Water Protection Fund balance to the program administration account for Fiscal Year 2027.
  9. Fiscal Year 2026 Arizona Water Protection Fund Annual Report – Chairman Rodney Held
    1. The Commission will discuss and may approve or suggest revisions to the draft Fiscal Year 2026 Annual Report.
  10. AWPF Commission Policy Review for Application Screenings – All Commission Members
    1. The Commission will review, discuss, and may take action to update or clarify AWPF grant application screening policies when a grant application is determined to be found ineligible for funding consideration by AWPF staff.
  11. Commissioner Interest in Scheduling AWPF Project Site Visits – All Commission Members
    1. The Commission will discuss its interest and availability in scheduling future AWPF project site visits and may take action or provide direction to staff.

    1. The Arizona Water Protection Fund Commission may elect to go into Executive Session for the purposes of obtaining legal advice from its attorney on any of the listed agenda items pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3). Executive sessions are not open to the public.
    2. Agenda items may be taken out of order. No action may be taken on items unless specifically noted on the agenda.
