Readme.txt file for the provisonal release of the ADWR SRV model geology update report 10/23/06

The Hydrology Division of the Arizona Department of Water Resources has been in the process

over the last two years of updating the geology used in the Departments Salt River Valley

(SRV) Regional Groundwater Flow Model. The geology update is the first phase of an overall

plan to update the models geologic structure, numerical grid and extend the models

steady-state and transient calibration periods.

At this time, the Department has completed the models geologic update and will soon make

the new analysis available as a provisional geologic update report on the Department

website at http://www.azwater.gov. Releasing the provisional geologic report at this

time allows us to provide the new data and analysis to water providers and other model

users prior to the completion of the overall model update. Please be advised that the

geologic data and interpretations that are included in this report and accompanying database

are provisional at this time and subject to revision.

Please note that although the report figures included on this CD are in PDF format, we

have noticed the printed product may vary per computer (certain symbols or text types

may not be available on your computer). So the Department can not guarantee the figures

included on this disk will print properly from all computers.
