ADWR will host the second informal public meeting to receive public comments and questions on draft rules for an Alternative Path to Designation of a 100-year Assured Water Supply (ADAWS). The ADAWS rulemaking seeks to address challenges that some water providers face in pursuing a new Designation of 100-year Assured Water Supply (DAWS) under the current rules. ADWR may amend its Rules found in Arizona Administrative Code, Title 12, Chapter 15, Article 7 and specifically the following rules: R12-15-701, R12-15-704, R12-15-710, R12-15-711, R12-15-720, and R12-15-724. The draft amendments can be found on ADWR’s website.
