ADWR administers compliance within the regulatory programs under its purview through a variety of strategies including education, auditing, monitoring, field investigations and enforcement. Public knowledge of ADWR compliance efforts may be the most significant factor in attaining a high voluntary compliance rate among Arizona water users.
