Central Arizona Groundwater Replenishment District 2015 Plan of Operation - ADWR Review

The Central Arizona Groundwater Replenishment District (CAGRD) is required by A.R.S. § 45-576.02.C.2, to submit a plan of operation for approval by ADWR every ten years.  A new CAGRD Plan of Operation (2015 Plan) covering the period from 2015 through 2025 was required to be submitted to ADWR for review no later than December 31, 2014. CAGRD submitted the 2015 Plan to ADWR on December 29, 2014. The 2015 Plan describes the activities that the CAGRD proposes to undertake in the Phoenix, Pinal and Tucson Active Management Areas (AMAs) over the next 100 years to meet its replenishment obligations for existing and new members.  ADWR’s Director must review the 2015 Plan and issue a decision for each AMA as to whether or not the Plan is consistent with achieving the AMA’s management goal.

ADWR has approved the 2015 Central Arizona Groundwater Replenishment District Plans of Operation for the Phoenix, Pinal, and Tucson Active Management Areas that were submitted by the Central Arizona Groundwater Replenishment District on December 29, 2014.  Copies of the Decisions and Orders are available below.
