The location of streamflow gages identified by USGS number, flood ALERT equipment and USGS runoff contours are shown on Figure 4.9-4. Data from one discontinued station located at the Colorado River near Topock is shown in the table and on Figure 4.9-4. The period of record is from 1917 to 1982.

The average seasonal flow was highest in the spring (April-June) and lowest in the fall (October-December).

Maximum annual flow at this station was 21,827,922 acre-feet in 1921 and minimum annual flow was 4,316,354 acre-feet in 1934.

Average annual runoff is 0.5 inches per year, or 26.65 acre-feet per square mile, in the northeastern portion of the basin and decreases to 0.1 inches, or 5.33 acre-feet per square mile, in the center of the basin.
