Water Adequacy Determinations in the Tonto Creek Basin
Water adequacy determination information including the subdivision name, location, number of lots, adequacy determination, reason for the inadequacy determination, date of determination and subdivision water provider are shown in Table 5.3-10A and B for water reports and analysis of adequate water supply.  Figure 5.3-12 shows the locations of subdivisions keyed to the Table. For a description of the Adequacy Program click here.  For adequacy determination data sources and methods click here.  For more information on adequacy determinations in the Tonto Creek Basin see Section 5.0.5 - Population.
  • All subdivisions receiving an adequacy determination are in Gila County.  Sixty-two water adequacy determinations for 4,184 lots have been made in this basin through December 2008. Four hundred and forty-one lots in eight subdivisions, or 13% of lots, were determined to be adequate.

  • The most common reason for an inadequate determination was because the applicant did not submit the necessary information and/or available hydrologic data were insufficient to make a determination.

  • One Analysis of Adequate Water Supply application for 34 lots has been approved for this basin.
