There are seven groundwater sub-basins in the Phoenix AMA: East Salt River Valley (ESRV), West Salt River Valley (WSRV), Hassayampa, Rainbow Valley, Fountain Hills, Lake Pleasant, and Carefree. (Figure 8.1-6)
